Our First Meeting: A Policy Initiative to Fight Police Brutality

On Monday, June 8th at 6:00pm EST, we had our very first meeting. Advocates, policy experts, leaders, students, and friends from all across the U.S. gathered in response to a call for action that The Justice Generation co-founders Aditi Bawa and Jennifer Koo put out. We discussed police brutality and came together as a community to talk about how policy advocacy can be used to mobilize anti-racist action, amplify BIPOC voices, and support the Black Lives Matter movement.
