ABOUT US

We are a passionate and powerful generation for justice advocating to fight police brutality at local, state, and federal levels. Our aim is to build a sustainable, equitable, and just grassroots movement that prioritizes humanity. We do this through:

ENGAGING IN POLICY EDUCATION

  1. Bring awareness to specific policy issues that allow, perpetuate, and promote police brutality

  2. Collaborate with experts to dissect and understand public policies directly related to police brutality

  3. Draft legislative asks, and create new or support pre-existing policy initiatives

  4. Form open dialogues with key community stakeholders to support established policy goals of other BIPOC initiatives and groups

USING MEDIA

  1. Publish letters to the editors, opinion editorials, and other targeted media pieces

  2. Establish working relationships with news media outlets

LOBBYING

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with our elected officials to influence legislation and political decision

  2. Correspond regularly with representatives to discuss developments in local, state, and national policy

  3. Conduct advocacy and lobby meetings with specific asks and recommendations for public representatives

COLLABORATIVE ORGANIZING

  1. Create a community where advocates across the U.S. can connect with one another to collaborate and take action on police brutality legislation on local, state, or national levels

  2. Assist with the fundraising, education, advocacy, and organizing efforts of other BIPOC groups and leaders

LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

  1. Create opportunities that support the growth, interests, ideas, and leadership development of all of our members
